We want an Equal Rights Amendment on the Minnesota ballot in 2016 and we want the deadline for ratification of the federal ERA removed. Join us!
ERAMN activists marched 5 miles through the streets of our nation’s capitol surrounded by a complete police entourage on Women’s Equality Day accompanying Helene de Boissiere-Swanson (pictured wearing gold & pink) on the final miles of her 7000 trek across America to promote the ERA. The marchers walked to the White House to stand where suffragists of old held their silent sentinel, then walked to the Capitol where they met with the press and held a rally - where a diverse coalition of women and men from all across the country emphasized why constitutional equality is still so badly needed. (Pictured here: ERAMN leaders Betty Folliard I Gail Kulick share the stage with a small sampling of speakers).
ERA Minnesota (ERAMN) is a coalition of individuals and organizations working to secure an Equal Rights Amendment to the State and Federal Constitutions.
