ERA Minnesota is delighted to be invited to speak at the USDA's Cereal Disease Lab for Women's Equality Day. We reviewed the history of women's suffrage in the United States, and why the vote was not enough to secure full equality for all genders. leading to how passage of the Equal Rights Amendment in the United States and Minnesota's constitutions will achieve that unfinished goal.
Director of Communications, Beth Johnson, provides a historical overview of women's suffrage and attempts to pass an Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution.
If you would like a speaker to present to your organization, please contact Beth Johnson at the ERA Minnesota Speaker's Bureau at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us on the morning of Saturday, August 6th at 10 am for a two hour strategy meeting.
We will elect officers and brunch will be served!
